Hot water heater went out in the middle of two of my girls taking after swimming showers. My husband Jack was at work in the Bay Area and found Optimized Plumbing & Piping out of Sonora. Could not be happier with Curtis. He called me said he would be out around 3 pm which I was happy with but when he called back around 1pm and said they would be there in 30 mins I was ecstatic! In November 2023 we received a flyer advertising Hybrid water heater from Optimized Plumbing and Piping. I gave them a call and talked to Curtis about the unit’s cost savings, size variation and install cost. At the time there was a substantial rebate being offered that we were able to take advantage of thanks to Curtis’s help. We felt the Hybrid water heater with its energy efficiency would be a good addition to our all-electric home. The installation and removal of the old heater went without any problems. The App lets you make adjustments to different energy efficiency modes, energy saver, heat pump, electric or gas, high demand and vacation. You can check available hot water, kwh usage and if the unit is functioning normally. At the time of writing this review and checking the App it reminded me to clean the air filter. So, after two and a half years we have had no issues and couldn’t be more satisfied with the hybrid water heater and the work that Curtis and Optimized Plumbing and Piping.

Curtis picked up the phone on my first call on the Friday before Memorial Day weekend. He was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He gave me some options and wasn’t pushy at all. He re placed my water heater two days later on Monday during a holiday weekend. It was a great experience, would highly recommend Optimized Plumbing & Piping.

Very happy with Optimized Plumbing. Curtis did a great job replacing my old on-demand water heater with a new one. The work was first rate which is most important, but I was also very impressed with the responsiveness. My schedule is difficult, and I had several questions leading up to the install. Curtis responded timely to every e-mail and text and was arrived on-time. I've since had follow-up questions as well and again received detailed, timely responses.

Curtis at Optimized Plumbing has helped us out on a number of occasions. We have a cabin in MiWuk. Most recently our very old water heater was giving out and Curtis installed a Hybrid water heater which we had been looking at for awhile due to the energy efficiency and the direction the state is going in to move things to electric and away from gas. Curtis took care of all the rebate papers for us. The installation and removal of old heater went flawlessly. Now I am installing the App on my phone so I can switch between the different energy efficient modes. I can't review the app yet, still working on that.

New construction, Curtis was there to handle every plumbing detail. Worked through some hurdles to deliver exactly what I wanted, where I wanted it. We were having a new house built in 2016 and Optimized Plumbing did all of the plumbing and fire sprinkler installation. The owner, Curtis, does excellent work. He is always responsive to our needs and was great to work with. He replaced a water heater in another property with one days notice and did an excellent job. I feel I can call him at any time with questions or concerns and he is always helpful.

Curtis was great to work with and expedited installation for a new water heater when the old one went out of commission. I was happy to get a new very efficient water heater to replace the old dinosaur.

Optimized Plumbing and Piping installed a new tankless water heater and recirculation pump. Curtis showed up on time and completed the complete install in less than a day. He also pointed out other work that I should consider based on his observation, updating flashing around roof top vents and missing insulation on the hot water lines. The price was quoted prior to the start of work and maintained through the final invoice. i was informed by Curtis on all the steps and dates.
